Large American Flag is one of the most popular heirloom leek varieties, renowned for its long, thick white stems and vigorous dark green foliage. Known for its excellent quality and dependable productivity, it is a favorite choice for home gardens and market growers alike.
This variety produces strong plants with long white shanks measuring approximately 20–30 cm (8–12 inches) in length and 4–6 cm (1.5–2.5 inches) in diameter at maturity.
