The Hot – Cayenne Purple pepper produces long, slender fruits that start out a deep purple and mature to a bright red. It delivers a strong, spicy flavor with a heat level of approximately 30,000–50,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), making it ideal for fresh use, drying, or preparing hot sauces. The plants are highly productive, easy to grow, and well suited for home gardens, raised beds, and large containers.
Growing in Kuwait & the Gulf Region:
For best results, start seeds during August and September, then transplant seedlings to their final location after 4–6 weeks. Plant in full sun (6–8 hours daily) in fertile, well-drained soil. Water regularly without overwatering and apply a balanced fertilizer every two weeks. Plants typically begin producing 70–90 days after transplanting and continue yielding generously with proper care.
