Rosanne 3 Brown F1 is a premium F1 hybrid Lisianthus (Eustoma grandiflorum) variety, distinguished by its unique chocolate-brown flowers with soft pink and bronze tones. Its rare coloration and elegant appearance make it a highly sought-after variety for luxury floral arrangements, wedding bouquets, and cut flower production.
The plants produce strong, upright stems reaching approximately 70–90 cm in height. Each stem carries multiple blooms that open gradually, providing an extended flowering period and excellent productivity for cut flowers.
The flowers are fully double, with densely layered petals resembling roses, typically measuring 5–7 cm in diameter. They also have an excellent vase life, remaining fresh for 10–14 days with proper care after cutting.
Lisianthus seeds require light to germinate, so they should be sown on the surface of the growing medium without being covered with soil. Keep the growing medium consistently moist and maintain a temperature of 20–24°C. Germination usually occurs within 10–21 days.
This variety is suitable for growing in Kuwait and Gulf countries during the winter growing season. For best results, start seeds indoors in an air-conditioned or protected environment during August and September, as Lisianthus requires a long growing period. Transplant seedlings outdoors from October to November after temperatures become milder. Flowering typically begins from February to April, depending on the planting date.
Grow in a full-sun location with fertile, well-drained soil. Space plants 20–30 cm apart to promote good air circulation and healthy growth. Water regularly without overwatering, and remove spent flowers to encourage continuous blooming and produce high-quality stems suitable for cut flower use.
