Wee-B-Little is an heirloom, open-pollinated pumpkin variety known for its very small, bright orange fruits. It is one of the most popular miniature pumpkins for both culinary use and ornamental displays. This variety won the All-America Selections (AAS) Award in 1999 for its outstanding performance, high productivity, and exceptional fruit quality.
The plants have a compact, semi-bush growth habit compared to larger pumpkin varieties, making them well suited for home gardens and spacious raised beds. They produce an abundant crop of round fruits measuring about 8–9 cm (3–3.5 inches) in diameter and weighing approximately 250–450 g each. The smooth, glossy orange rind surrounds a yellow to deep orange flesh with a sweet, mild flavor, making it ideal for stuffing, baking, soups, and pies, while also being an excellent choice for seasonal decorations and carving.
In the Gulf countries, Wee-B-Little pumpkin seeds are best sown during October and November to take advantage of the cooler growing season. Under favorable conditions, the fruits are ready for harvest in approximately 90–95 days, producing a plentiful harvest of uniform, high-quality miniature pumpkins.
