Fairy Tale Hybrid is a premium hybrid eggplant variety and an All-America Selections (AAS) Winner, recognized for its outstanding productivity, superior fruit quality, and compact growth habit. It is considered one of the best eggplant varieties for home gardens and container growing.

This variety is renowned for its attractive miniature fruits with glossy purple skin beautifully striped with white, giving them a unique ornamental appearance. The fruits have thin, tender skin and creamy white flesh with a sweet, delicate flavor and virtually no bitterness, making them ideal for grilling, roasting, frying, and cooking whole. They are especially delicious when harvested at a young stage.

The fruits measure approximately 10–12 cm (4–5 inches) in length, while the plants grow to about 60–90 cm (24–36 inches) tall. Plants begin producing fruit approximately 50–60 days after transplanting and continue to yield heavily throughout the season with regular harvesting, which encourages continuous flowering and abundant fruit production.

In the Gulf countries, seeds are best started indoors during August and September, with seedlings transplanted outdoors in September and October. A second planting season is also suitable during January and February for a spring harvest before the onset of high summer temperatures.
