Tendersweet is a premium carrot variety prized for its long, smooth, bright orange roots and exceptionally sweet flavor. Its crisp yet tender texture makes it an excellent choice for fresh eating, juicing, cooking, roasting, and long-term storage.

Plants produce uniform, straight roots measuring approximately 20–25 cm (8–10 in) in length, with vigorous green tops. This productive variety is typically ready for harvest in 70–75 days after sowing, delivering high yields of premium-quality carrots.

This variety thrives in full sun but also performs well in partial shade. It grows best in deep, loose, well-drained soil free of stones, allowing the roots to develop straight, smooth, and uniform.

Recommended sowing time in the Gulf: Sow seeds from September through February during the cooler growing season. Direct sowing is recommended, as carrots do not transplant well.
