Pepitas F1 is a premium hybrid pumpkin variety that produces medium-sized fruits filled with naturally hull-less green seeds. It is highly valued for roasting and snacking, as the seeds can be eaten without removing a hard outer shell. This variety is an All-America Selections (AAS) Award winner, recognized for its excellent productivity, superior seed quality, and outstanding garden performance.
The plants are vigorous and produce long, strong vines with a generous yield of round fruits typically weighing 2–4 kg (4.5–9 lb). The pumpkins develop an attractive orange rind at maturity, while the flesh is orange and suitable for soups, purées, baking, and other culinary uses. Its most distinctive feature is its large, flavorful, hull-less green seeds, which are easy to roast and enjoy.
