Collard Greens – Top Bunch 2.0 F1
Top Bunch 2.0 F1 is an early and vigorous hybrid collard variety known for its uniform growth and good production of large, attractive green leaves. The plant has an upright, open growth habit and does not form a head like cabbage, making the leaves easy to harvest.
It produces large, broad leaves with a distinctive shape and a rich green to bluish-green color. The leaves have a firm texture and lightly crinkled surface, giving the plant an attractive appearance. When harvested at the right stage, the leaves are tender and suitable for fresh use or cooking. Smaller leaves can be harvested for fresh consumption, while the larger leaves are ideal for cooking. The outer leaves can be harvested gradually while the plant continues producing new leaves, allowing for an extended harvest period.
Harvest begins approximately 50 days after direct sowing, with an earlier harvest possible when grown from transplants.
Seedling starting in the Gulf countries: It is recommended to start the seeds in seedling trays during September and October, then transplant the seedlings to their permanent location once they are well established and strong enough to transplant.
