Medium-early variety of aubergine producing round crops which weigh approx. 250g. The skin is dark purple, and the flesh is firm and white. Cultivated from seedlings in greenhouses. Heat and humidity demanding plant. Used fresh, fried, steamed, and can be preserved. Grow best in sandy, fertile, well drained, slightly acidic to neutral soil
